KC4 is a new addition for 2023, defined by remarkable energy and minerality. The nose is defined by complex notes of Amalfi lemon, flint and struck match. The palate is medium-bodied, with layers of fresh citrus peel, brioche and flint are complemented by creamy mouthfeel, leading to a layered and elegant finish.
2023 in the North Downs of Kent was challenging yet rewarding, with a mild, wet winter and spring tempered by a long, warm summer, resulting in large, beautifully balanced fruit with excellent acidity and fruit concentration.
The wines were aged for 11 months in a barrel before blending and bottling. Blending was determined by a careful barrel selection, with barrels exuding particularly elegant and complex mineral flavours being selected for the final blend of ‘KC4’.
